- Mango Tree Villas is an oasis of calm in the Tres Rio Jungle. The property is beautifully landscaped to show all the tropical plants and flowers. The villas are incredibly well maintained, comfortable, clean, and very high quality towels and beds. Brian & Gail have extensive experience as hosts and it shows in their flexibility and willingness to solve any issues. We loved the range and quality of excursions our group attended and the guides which gave us the perfect introduction to this beautiful country.

Mango Tree Villas is the most wonderful retreat, set in a beautiful , peaceful location. The separate villas look out through the trees and the countryside beyond. All of our needs were cared for. Gail & Brian are the most generous, warm hosts sharing their knowledge of the area. All in all, a wonderful stay and a very special place. We couldn't have asked for more.

MTVR is a remarkable haven of beauty and tranquility - wildlife and bizarre and beautiful plants within arms length of our lovely villa. Gail & Brian are equally remarkable for their kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity. At every turn they anticipated what could give us pleasure and made sure that they provided all the resources we needed to make a memorable experience happen again and again. Meals were constantly wonderful - beautifully planned and presented.

There is a wonderful atmosphere at MTVR with its nature rich setting combined with Gail & BN=rian & staff's attentive hosting. Delicious fresh vegetarian food, a yoga studio with beautifully crafted wooden floor and ceiling as well as a spectacular view of toucans and sunsets watching. Thank you for a memorable 8 night stay.

Brian & Gail were great hosts. The facilities were great, lovely villas very clean and well maintained. We had beautiful views of the jungle and waking up to the birds song. The villas are thoughtfully laid out and had good equipment lovely details in the villas like the essential old spray. I loved the yoga shala with its amazing views of the surrounding area and the wood floor. The tours that we had were amazing. I had so much fun and learned a lot about Costa Rica. The food was good and varied. I love Costa Rica and can't wait to come back.

Brian and Gail were fabulous hosts - they sowed us the local area and arranged wonderful trips for our group. Accommodations were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved practicing yoga on the beautiful yoga deck from which we could see toucans in the morning and sunsets at night. Brian delivered as a bar tender with different cocktails every night! Thank you both so much for a truly memorable week in Costa Rica

The facility: Great bar area, good pool and lounge area, amazing yoga studio.
Hospitality: Best hosts. Gail & Brian went out of their way to make us feel at home and provide great company. Superb cocktails and great food. I would definitely come back just to spend some time with such positive people.
Accommodations: Generous sizes, our own sitting room and balcony and fans and air conditioning. Everything required for out stay was provided.
Yoga Shala: Perfect space with all the required equipment. I feel blessed

Tour guides: My favorite tours were the ATV tour and boarding lessons. Will come back just for those!

Luxury! I felt pampered and well taken care of. The whole staff made me feel at home. The food and service was more than I could have asked for! The cooks food was all homemade and never wasteful, delicious food! Well thoughtout meals and transportation around town was excellent! MP

5 Star! All very informational, well educated on safety and things to learn about Costa Rica (the do's and don'ts). Anyone looking for a life changing experience if they do yoga everyday or not. It was a perfect balance between yoga and exploring the land, relaxation with motivation. I recommend this experience to anyone looking to discover themselves. MP
