OUR SUGGESTIONS TO MINIMIZE OR ELIMINATE YOUR TRAVEL STRESS!
TRAVELING TO MANGO TREE VILLAS
We are located approximately 4.5 hours south of the San Jose Airport on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Retreat Guests:
Plan to arrive by noon the first day of the retreat so you have time to board the complementary private shuttle. If the flights from your local airport can not accommodate this, plan to fly in the day before and stay the night in San Jose. If you need a suggestion for a good hotel, send us an email at info@mangotreevillasandretreats.yoga.
We provide a return complementary private shuttle the day before your departing flight home. All of our retreats are unique, but we often will include a complimentary reservation at a hotel in San Jose the night before your departure flight. If your chosen retreat does not include this option and you would like a recommendation, please let us know. We are herer to help!

Cancelation and Refund Policies

Availability at Mango Tree Villas and Retreats is limited. Therefore, it is important that we maximize the experience for all by including the right number of participants. We also understand that in life there are things that come up and all plans are subject to disruption. If you find that you must cancel your registration at the retreat please note the following policies:
Voluntary Cancellation by guest:
· 100% refund for cancellation 60 or more day prior to the event, less transaction charges incurred by the method of payment (Paypal, Venmo, credit card fees).
Cancelation fee - Mango Tree Villas and Retreat Center
- RETREATS
· 25% will be charged for cancellation 0 to 59 days prior to the event.
· All payments are due 60 days prior to the arrival date.
Cancelation Options:
· Full Resort Credit (redeemable within 24 months of the retreat date -based on availability).
· Transferring your place and payments to a substitute guest (friend or relative).
**When Mango Tree Villas Cancels Retreat:
*Due to an act of God – new Covid restrictions, etc.in 24 months of the retreat date- based on availability)
· Full refund –less transaction fees
· Full Resort Credit (redeemable within two years based on availability)
When the instructor is Unavailable:
Instructor Cancels
We reserve the right to execute the retreat as planned with a substitute instructor of our choice.
· If the guest chooses to cancel at this time, they will receive a refund less a 25% cancelation fee and the transaction fees.
· Full Resort Credit (redeemable within 24 months of the retreat date based on availability).
Mango Tree Villas & Retreats reserves the right to cancel the reservation of any individual who we deem violates any of our policies at any time during their stay at Mango Tree Villas & Retreats with NO REFUND AVAILABLE.
We realize that all of the above circumstances are impactful to our guests and to Mango Tree Villas. Therefore, it is our intention to above all, be fair to everyone involved by creating fair and equitable policies.

- Mango Tree Villas is an oasis of calm in the Tres Rio Jungle. The property is beautifully landscaped to show all the tropical plants and flowers. MTVR is a remarkable haven of beauty and tranquility - wildlife and bizarre and beautiful plants within arms length of our lovely villa. Gail & Brian are equally remarkable for their kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity. At every turn they anticipated what could give us pleasure and made sure that they provided all the resources we needed to make a memorable experience happen again and again. Meals were constantly wonderful - beautifully planned and presented.

There is a wonderful atmosphere at MTVR with its nature rich setting combined with Gail & Brian & staff's attentive hosting. Delicious fresh vegetarian food, a yoga studio with beautifully crafted wooden floor and ceiling as well as a spectacular view of toucans and sunsets watching. Thank you for a memorable 8 night stay.

Brian & Gail were great hosts. The facilities were great, lovely villas very clean and well maintained. We had beautiful views of the jungle and waking up to the birds song. The villas are thoughtfully laid out and had good equipment lovely details in the villas like the essential old spray. I loved the yoga shala with its amazing views of the surrounding area and the wood floor. The tours that we had were amazing. I had so much fun and learned a lot about Costa Rica. The food was good and varied. I love Costa Rica and can't wait to come back.

We loved practicing yoga on the beautiful yoga deck from which we could see toucans in the morning and sunsets at night. Brian delivered as a bar tender with different cocktails every night! The facility: Great bar area, good pool and lounge area, amazing yoga studio.
Hospitality: Best hosts. Gail & Brian went out of their way to make us feel at home and provide great company. Superb cocktails and great food. I would definitely come back just to spend some time with such positive people.
