Our Amazing Location
Nestled in the heart of the jungle, Mango Tree Villas and Retreats Retreat Center is surrounded by breathtaking scenery with nature and wildlife all around. Our location is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We are located south of Dominical on the Pacific Coast. Near the famous Osa Penninsula.
Retreat Leader Benefits
All retreats are custom to you and supported by our staff. We offer a compensation package to leaders. We provide as much or as little support as you want: Our support ranges from helping create the itinerary (excursions, activities, transportation, private chef, theme night happy hours/mocktail hour, complimentary hotel upon arrival in San Jose, or hotel in San Jose the night before your departure for home), you choose! Your only obligation is to fill the retreat with your students, friends, and guests. Our venue is small and the number of retreat guests range from 8 -10 generally plus the leader. We will both decide on the maximum number of guests for your particular retreat and establish a price based on the activities you want to include and the number of retreat days. .
We will help you advertise for your retreat too. We help by taking deposits on our website and billing the guest the final payment which is due 60 days prior to the retreat date.

Guest Activities, Services, and Needs
All excursions are located within an hour of Mango Tree Villas. These include options to zip line, waterfall hike, sunset dinner overlooking the ocean, boat tour of the mangrove, whale watching off Ballena, and snorkeling off the waters of Cano Island. All retreats include a few trips to the beach and a pool day relaxing. Each guest will receive a 60 minute full body massage too.

Everyone benefits from a beautiful, seamless retreat, we make that happen.
We are located approximately 4 hours south of the San Jose Airport on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Retreat Guests:
All of our retreats are unique, therefore depending on the leaders requests and differing factors we often include a complimentary hotel room the night of arrival for the guest(double occupancy) and leader (single occupancy). We always include a complementary private shuttle that will bring the group to Mango Tree Villas. If the retreat includes a hotel room the shuttle picks up the group the following day after their arrival. If the retreat does not include a hotel room we ask that the guests arrive no laater than noon. The Shuttle will pickup at 12:30 from the airport. If the guest's flights from their local airport can not accommodate this, they will need to plan to fly in the day before and stay the night in San Jose. If a recommendation for a good hotel is needed, send us an email at infor@mangotreevillasandretreats.yoga.
We provide a return complementary private shuttle the day before the departing flight home. We may also provide a complimentary hotel room the night before departure for you and your guests too. This is negotiated when the retreat planning is underway.

MTVR is a remarkable haven of beauty and tranquility - wildlife and bizarre and beautiful plants within arms length of our lovely villa. Gail & Brian are equally remarkable for their kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity. There is a wonderful atmosphere at MTVR with its nature rich setting combined with Gail & Brian & staff's attentive hosting. Delicious fresh vegetarian food, a yoga studio with beautifully crafted wooden floor and ceiling as well as a spectacular view of toucans and sunsets watching. Thank you for a memorable 8 night stay.

Brian & Gail were great hosts. The facilities were great, lovely villas very clean and well maintained. We had beautiful views of the jungle and waking up to the birds song. The villas are thoughtfully laid out and had good equipment lovely details in the villas like the essential old spray. I loved the yoga shala with its amazing views of the surrounding area and the wood floor. The tours that we had were amazing. I had so much fun and learned a lot about Costa Rica. The food was good and varied. I love Costa Rica and can't wait to come back.
